If I may ask what camera/lens are you using for your pictures? Down south we have  a park where bald eagles nest and blue heron are an abundance but if one is clever they can spot the owls and green heron. Even if one is not clever occasionally this happens:

Awesome! Camera is a lower end DSLR. Nikon D-3500. 55-300 mm lens. Saving up for a better one…

We get a lot of Egrets and Herons here.  The very first pond I ever did had koi in it and a Great Blue Heron turned them into very expensive Sushi.   I was mad about it but not at the bird ...he was just doing what nature told him to but at myself for not foreseeing it and losing the fish.  Very expensive lesson that day.
