Fish Folk Posted September 1, 2021 Share Posted September 1, 2021 Today I gave 10x Rainbow Shiners to my LFS owner-friend. He wanted to try them pretty bad in his own tank. Now, these are my absolute favorite cool water fish. But awhile ago, I began to learn an important lesson: giving someone a good deal is better than finding a good deal. Hoarding isn’t a satisfactory root for happiness. Now… I also have found that, with some attentive persistence, most fish will reproduce in your own tank. And today, I found 12x new R. Shiner fry free-swimming in my Java box. These are in addition to the 17x already growing out in a net breeder. So… give. It brightens the world.
