DeepWater
So I decided to clean the filter in my tank. Unfortunately, on setting things back up, the connection between the top plastic ring and the next plastic section loosened. The result is that air now flows through the gap, and not the air stone. Any suggestions on how to seal this connection? I did test the air stone, connected directly to the line it produces many little bubbles.
Solstice_Lacer
Maybe use a small piece of air hose to bridge the gap if possible? Or if you're talking a tiny crevice, maybe seal with super glue?
Intuos
Maybe try heating up the air hose before fitting it then running it under cold water to try and make a better seal.
eatyourpeas
Perhaps taking it apart and adding some silicone grease on the rim before reassembling? @Intuos does have a good suggestion. Making a longer fit on the tube would help ensure no air leaves before it reaches the right place.

Streetwise
Sometimes the easiest solution is to just cut off the end of the tubing. Some tubing is better-optimized for aquariums and lights.
