Spoolin
Hi everyone- This is my new goldfish named Boba. He came with a white spot on his Wen and just one small one on his body. From what I read online last week, the white spot on his Wen was a indication that his Wen was growing. He always had the one white spot on his body as well, but now I am starting to notice a couple more white spots around his face and one on his tail. Would this be Ick by any chance? Any advice would be great! Thank you!
Fish Folk
Doesn't look like Ich to me. It might be some kind of external bacterial infection, or -- if it looks "fuzzy" -- maybe a fungus. I'd probably dose with Maricyn (or E.M. Ethromycin) plus something for possible fungus. Ic-X will treat mild fungal infections. Use API Fungus cure as directed -- though it will stain your water green for awhile.
Spoolin
Thank you @Fish Folk! I have some Erythromycin laying around that we used on our Betta fish. I will give that a shot. Appreciate your help!
