I recently moved these Neons from a ten gallon to a twenty long, and this is what I came up with. Most of the plants were moved as well, some are new. I think it will look better as the plants recover and fill in. For my first real attempt I'm pretty happy with it.

This is mine. It's been going for a few years now. Very low tech. I pretty much don't do anything to it, but very occasionally thin out some of the swords and crypts and keep the lotus from reaching the surface.

@Slick_Nick, those Pogostemon Helferi look prime! That entire tank looks great. High tech?

@tolstoy21, you show great restraint with this beautiful tank. I’d be stuffing random plants in every available inch of bare substrate 😀.

ive since come to appreciate the open spaces and large rocks.

Oh and I would like some more nana petite in there. That’s the only thing I want to stuff more of into the tank.

Thanks Patrick it’s actually low tech. It’s been running for about a year and a few months. I just set up my first high tech tank and plan on moving some of the helferi over to it to propagate it quicker it’s definitely one of my favorite plants!
