I recently bought one for my new 75 gal set up. How would you prepare the background before installation? I think Cory has mentioned using dawn dish soap on it? Any help would be great! Isaac M Posted August 21, 2021 Share Posted August 21, 2021 Hi @Gingerbro98, I have only used the thinner 3d background style and I did not do anything to prep the background. I held it in place with the substrate and that was it. Mine fit tightly enough to not need any silicone to seal the ends or hold it in place.
