Administrators Cory Posted August 18, 2021 Administrators Share Posted August 18, 2021 Glad to hear it. One of my favorite plants for sure. Once they start to takeoff, it's like instant awesome looking aquarium.
Hobbit
The co-op lily in my outdoor tub has basically taken over—and made two flowers! 4

That is so beautiful, it almost looks photoshopped. Just . . . .WOW!!!
Hobbit
I think my phone is messing with the colors a bit (I have a new iPhone and I think it automatically enhances everything) but it is still REALLY pink in real life!
DebSills
yours is beautiful, I'm jealous!!! Mine isn't doing great (not from coop) ...it seems to be growing leaves, but hasn't grown "up" anywhere (also...this was taken a couple of weeks ago, the algae is getting better, I promise...tank is only about 6 weeks old) the lily hasn't changed much since this pic was taken though... 😐 I may either just give up on it and use the space for more rotala clippings, or get one from coop with my next order 🙂

Other lilies just haven’t done well. Here’s another one — not from the Co-Op…
gardenman
I bought one from the Coop back in January that's done nothing. They sent a replacement that's done great. It seems to be very hit or miss with the bulb plants. The first one is still hanging around the tank and not rotting, but also not growing after eight months. It looks the same as it did when I bought it.
Hobbit
I bought two bulbs originally, and one never sprouted. Just like you said @gardenman—it didn’t rot but it also didn’t do anything for months. 🤷♀️ If anyone ever NEEDs a certain number right away, I’d definitely recommend getting one extra. It’s worth it!
jnaks
Agree with @Hobbit. I bought two and sure enough, one was a dud after a month and a half. Rotated a few times just in case. The other one began to sprout rather quickly and is coming along in my nano. Hoping they grow out to the surface for the killifish to hang/lay eggs. fisherman
I guess I should count myself lucky, I too bought a bulb from the Co-op and it's sprouting something within a week. I'm not sure what's sprouting, leaf or root, I'm guessing roots because of the number, but at least it's something.
