Dad & Fish Folk Jr. went Darter catching today again.

This week, we’ve caught some special Darters in our native waters…

And Dace…

And Sculpins…

Today Fish Folk Jr. caught three Darters today…

Just wondering if I would ever want to go to my local creek and catch fish would I have to have a permit or no. I made a post a few months ago about American gobies that I caught that I wanted to put in one of my tanks. Is it illegal without a permit? Thanks!

Yeah, can’t keep them here. They’re doing great in situ, so it’s just cool to see 😎

You can find that information in the your State's wildlife permits and regulations website. I would love to have a sea urchin, but they are not allowed here. 😞

Thanks @Fish Folk and @eatyourpeasI just emailed my fish and game wildlife center. It would be cool to keep local species.
