ChemBob
I am thinking about setting up a Saulosi Mbuna tank, and am curious what aquarium plants are safe for them to eat. I have duckweed, Amazon frogbit, red root floaters, water wisteria, and Pogostemon Stellatus Octopus. Are these plants safe for Mbuna cichlids to eat? Are there any aquarium plants unsafe for Mbuna cichlids to eat?
OnlyGenusCaps
@Zenzo has a couple of vids on the topic: here and here. And he has P. saulosi as well. I've got plans for that species in a tank this coming spring, but I'll not be using any plants, so I've not been looking into plants specifically. Good luck, and I look forward to seeing the result! Colu
I think Java fern and anubis will be robust enough to go in a cichlid tank
