Louise
I bought this plant today and the store did not know what kind it was because I didn’t get labeled. I think it’s lucky bamboo but I wanted to be sure so I don’t accident kill it….

Odd Duck
Looks like a Dracaena species. I’m not an expert at all, but there are some here that will probably be able to tell you not only species, but variety as well. Hopefully someone will chime in soon for you. Dawn T
That's a species of Dracaena sometimes referred to as "corn plant". It will root in a tank but it doesn't like to live with its feet wet. Left in there more than short term, it WILL rot on you. You'll definitely want to put it into a pot with soil, either right away or after it gets a bit more roots. Just make sure it doesn't stay long enough to start rotting, or it'll pollute your tank.

Dawn T
One of my favorite houseplants. I recently cut mine and rooted the cuttings. Very hardy houseplant. 🙂
Louise
Thank you! I’ll remove it and put in a pot have! It will be my first actual house plant!
