Grizzly
I recently got some pea puffers and have tried feeding them frozen brine shrimp and frozen blood worms. They go up to it but don’t seem to eat it. I put snails in and they obviously eat those. Any tricks or suggestions to get them to eat it? I was thinking stop feeding snails for a few days and just offer frozen food but not sure
Colu
Your could try soaking his food in seachems garlic guard to encourage him to eat frozen foods
DannyBWell
Maybe don't feed for a couple days and try again they can be very picky when in a new environment

I was thinking stop feeding snails for a few days and just offer frozen food but not sure I have had fish refuse a new food initially. The vitachem helps for me same idea as garlic guard. I just offer the new food and eventually they eat it. I believe they can go for a bit without eating but are comfortable enough and conditioned enough in my set up to be picky about new foods occasionally. Ive done 3 days and then tried the new food again and they ate it with no issues. Id try your idea in my tanks

I do, however, agree that maybe not feeding them for a couple days and then trying the frozen food again is a good idea. Puffs are picky little buggers! Kilrkitty08
I use planting 'touges' (big tweezers) and wiggle the blood worms. Mine do the same Stalk and eat behavior as with snail eating. I mainly do this bc I keep neons and I can ensure my puffers are well fed but maybe it'll help you.
