Tanked
A customer dropped off a garden tractor for repairs. When I went to check the mower out I fond this guy crawling across the top of the seat. Before I could find a container, the snail was nowhere to be found. I don't now if this was the greatest looking garden snail I will ever see, or a lost opportunity for a free aquarium snail. What do you think? 3

Daniel
It is Cepaea nemoralis, otherwise known as a 'grove snail'. It is native to Europe but has been introduced to North America and yes, it is terrestrial. 2
GameCzar
He might have made a good snail for a terrarium 🙂 Really pretty shell.
Tanked
I had found a step by step snail identification guide on the net. Because all I have is this picture, the guide wasn't much help. The customer has a pond, and I've never seen a snail this large or colorful in the wild, so I thought there was a possibility. Yesterday it occurred to me that I should have looked for an answer here months ago. Thanks..
