So, just out of curiosity, who else is using their aquarium water change water in their garden?

I'm not using commercial chemical fertilizers in my garden because of the hummingbirds, finches, tanagers, bunnies, hummingbird moths, lizards, and Western Box Turtles; instead I've been using organic fertilizer, aquarium water, and liquid kelp for years. I was just curious to see if anyone else is using their aquarium water in the garden.

Yep I use it to water my Hydrangea. Since I started doing that the flowers are a nice blue where before they used to be more pinkish.

I water my new Hydrangea's as well.  They are looking better every week.

The water from my 65 gallon tank goes out in the pasture to irrigate the grass for the cows.  The water I siphon from the small tanks gets poured around the roses on the north side of the house, and I siphon water from the tubs outside into a white bucket, dip out the guppy fry, and then use it to water plants in the front flower bed and in pots.

Every $1.00 of water I buy cost almost $3.00 to pour down the drain.  So if I can reuse the aquarium water 
for the plants, its a no brainer.

I do!  It goes on all the flowers, and I almost wish I had more fish water for the plants lol.

We redid our home’s landscape after buying the house a couple of years ago. I water once a week from my 75 gallon, and my neighbors ask me what is my secret.

We use it for the house plants (lots of orchids) and the garden outside. None if it goes down the drain, well except the  waste from the RO, which I need to work on.

We water the house plants, throw it on the lawn, and in the garden. It's great.

I use it for my houseplants, especially spider plants, ivy and other varieties that cannot take our hard chlorinated tap water.

I don't have enough fish water for my outdoor plants, which I may or may not interpret as a sign that I am supposed to build a pond ;->
