Casual aquatics
So my question is did I find a diamond in the rough? I got this book given to me or what I thought was just a book. but it turned out to be a bunch of magazines banded together but it’s the whole series and it’s from 1979. like I’m gonna be reading this thing for a whole year and probably not even be able to digest half of it. just like in the pictures below that tip about filter floss did any of you guys know about that. and I’m also curious if any of these clubs in that one picture are still in existence. You should have seen me I was like a kid in the candy store when given this. Smiling from ear to ear I wonder what new things I’m going to learn. @Cory @Daniel @Streetwise obviously I want everyone to answer but tagged you three cause seem advanced in the hobby and are older than me. Thanks everyone! 8
Fish Folk
Check out Aquarist Podcast, Ep. 15. I don’t remember offhand if Joe mentioned your magazine set, but if you’ve not heard this, you’ll enjoy it!

Andy's Fish Den
I had a subscription to FAMA back in the day! I loved getting it in the mail. I can tell you some of the clubs listed are still around today, such as the Youngstown are tropical fish society, and the Greater Akron Aquarium Society, I have some friends in both clubs. And, some of the bigger clubs are, International Betta Congress and American Cichlid Association. The one that would be in my area, Toledo Betta Breeders is not around as far as I know.
