RobHart28
I have a Longfin Albino Oscar and 3 pictus catfish in quarenteen while I cycle their 75 gallon tank. What would be a good mid swimming tank mate that would go well with the Oscar if any. Right now he's only 2" so want to introduce him early. Got a local breeder of Polar Blue Parrots, would 1 of those work?

BenA
It depends on the point of view. From your point of view Silver Dollars and Angel fish. From the Oscar's point of view Guppies and Neons 😉
FrozenFins
I really like silver dollars. They are simply a "big" fish. The number one thing to consider when getting oscar tank mates is "will my oscar eat this". If the fish fits in the oscars mouth, its going in the oscars mouth. So here are a few of my favorite oscar tankmates: Severums Silver Dollar Adudlt Clown Loaches (dont get the babies and let the oscar and the baby clown loaches grow up together. The clown loaches are a slow grower meaning that the oscar will reach the size where he can eat the loaches, before the loaches get big enough where he cant) Geophagous Blood Parrot Bichir Heres a video where I would suggest also: Edited July 2, 2021 by James Black
RobHart28
I've got him in there with 3 pictus catfish and a guppy now, they seem to be doing alright. He chases the guppy around every now and then but leaves the catfish alone.
Dwayne Brown
I would get some large south american tetras, like the Columbian blue, or bleeding heart.
