Seized
FilterDont get me wrong i love fluval products but they seriously dont take advice well. Just today i was looking into a gravel vac they make for the FX series of filters and i said i would buy a cheap canister filter and attach a gravel vac tube to the intake and use it on all of my tanks. They commented back and said that i wasnt considering the capacity, caliber,or ease of use of the FX. When in fact all i was saying is that they should make an attachment that works on all canister filters so that we can use any that are tanks and budgets allow. Instead they expect me to but a $300-$400 filter. Let me know what your experience is with them as a company.
HenryC
My 406 canister's impeller broke and I haven't got a reply from them yet. It's been less than a year since I set it up, it started making a rattling sound then it stopped working. Giving them the benefit of the doubt due to the pandemic, but It's been almost a month now. Other than that, I've been very satisfied with their products, I like the bug bites lines a lot, ingredients seem to be very good, and my fluval flex is gorgeous and love it. AquaClears are amazing as well, but not sure if they actually manufacture them, or if they just own the brand. Seems to me they make great products, just that their CS leaves something to be desired. On a side note what you have as stock in ur fluval flex ? Is it the 15 or 32 ?

It's the 15 gallons, currently have 6 adult neon tetras that I transfered from my 40g, a small female crowntail betta and a baby dwarf gourami. The neons are just there to keep the cycle going, but I will be putting 10 celestial pearl danios next week.
Kat_Rigel
I haven't had to deal with their customer service yet, but I've found that their products are generally pretty sold, if a bit pricey. For me, I'm better off buying the more expensive, but reliable stuff, rather than buying other products at higher frequency. I absolutely love the Aquaclears (as previously mentioned.) Amanda
I got a new fluval heater and it didn't work new out of the box. I contacted them through cust service (calling just put me on hold forever) and waited weeks. I emailed them additional times. No responses. I contacted the store and their fluval rep took care of it and sent me a new heater. Great, but here's the thing, THE NEW HEATER ALSO DOESNT WORK! Its one of their cheaper nano tank heaters and didn't cost too much. I'm just going to give up. Maybe I'll try a Jager heater next.
Ben_RF
Well, on a positive note, their bug bites is honestly excellent as a fish food and great for finnicky fish. It is one of the four stapled dry foods I use with my tanks, the others being xtreme spirulina flakes, xtreme krell flakes, and vibrabites. Which incidentally I think you can get all four of these foods from the Aquarium Co Op website 🙂 So yeah, that's a positive 🙂
