MY snail THINKS he needs his own tank...geez

Next time he's on the front glass I'll get a thumb pic to show him in all his golden glory!  We've got a handful of little hitchikers that presumably rode plants into the tank, but they've been putting in work and aren't hurting anything, so I don't see them as pests.  My 5 year old loves them, too, so they stay.  A few are ramshorns and a few appear to be pond snails.  I assumed bladder snails at first but their shells lean to the right, which would make them ponds, wouldn't it?  This is all still new to me.

I don’t have ponds but I keep bladders. Their faces are sooo adorable

Ok, definitely ponds in my case.  Bladders do have adorable faces, with those little eyes!  I'm keeping an eye on their numbers, but they're not hurting anything and are being diligent little workers, so they're welcome.

This is Honey. I put her in a 10 gallon that had no other bladders and waited took about 8 weeks but she produced 2 clutches of her color. I adore her she is now very large. Just shy of the size of my juvenile olive nerite Nemo

I look at snails in every LFS I go to and I have never seen any in that color...ever.  Yours are amazing!

Hey different topic but I tried to get a pic of when they eat repashy from tongs in the evening but I wasn’t coordinated enough and dropped the repashy.

The trick is in how long you boil it.  I put the spinach in the pit with water and get it all wet then put it on the stove on high amd when it comes to a full boil…I let it go for 3 min boiling away.  Then I take it and run cold water thru the pot till it’s all cooled off and then it sinks .

Boil your green beans longer than you think you should and they eat them even better.  For me it’s all been trial and error.  @xXInkedPhoenixX has been helping me to learn about my mystery snails.  After seeing her two and the baby I knew I needed some lol

I have a tank full of baby mysteries too.  I do steam theirs longer but for the plecos they wipe out a lightly steamed gr bean in 2 hours…I have to slow them down. 🐷 piggies to the max.
