Jungle Fan
Can't say I have too much personal experience with Crinum thainum but that is not due to lack of opportunity but by choice. With a growth of up to over 6.6 feet (2 meters), and it being the largest of the crinum family I deliberately chose not to plant it in my tanks. Also the reports of its root spread, and being iffy in regards to pruning have kept me from pursuing this species for my aquarium. General consensus on this one seems to be to just pick a length you can live with and cut away. I think I would stay away from cutting too much at a time though due to the reports of it not tolerating pruning all too well. Here is some info regarding Crinum thainum that might help: https://biotopeaquariumproject.com/plant/crinum-thaianum-hbleher/ https://skfaquatics.com/forum/forums/topic/10886-crinum-thaianum/

Mines grown about 5’, but now it’s just balling up and blocking light. I moved my second one outside to see if it flowers and it threw all its leaves off, so it doesn’t like being messed with
