Fish Folk
A Betta question for you @Robert — several recent forum posts have prompted this: do you receive any feedback from customers who have found success breeding Bettas bought in store? These color strains are awesome! I’m curious about anecdotal reports on fertility.
Robert
@Fish FolkI really haven't heard much on breeding bettas from customers. If I do hear about and or approached about locally bred bettas the parents are usually coming from Asia such as Thailand specifically. I do wanna say though on one account the female betta was bought from a super store but the male from Thailand.
Joey M
Really enjoying the Bumblebee Otos I picked up from you guys from this shipment! They seem like the perfect addition to my Caridina shrimp tank. I have read about how difficult they can be to keep and that they tend not to eat prepared food but I usually see 2 or 3 of them sitting in the shrimp feeding bowl mopping up what is left after the shrimp have gotten their fill.
