Josh
I’ve recently discovered some white fungus on my bettas head. After doing some research and watching a couple videos I came across this recommendation. I suppose I have a few questions. What are your thoughts? Should I do a water change before adding that tablets? Should I dissolve the tablets first and then add them in? Any kind of advice is appreciated. Thanks. Colu
I would do a 30% water before treating with tetra lifeguard and you can put tetra lifeguard tables straight in the tank some people like to dissolve it in a jug and then add it to the tank
Josh
Thank you so much. I use prime during water changes. Would that have any affect on the meds? Should I wait an hour or so after the water change?
Colu
Prime is sulfonate based and can make some meds less effective I would do is a large water if your using prime and add the meds 24hr later if you don't have any ammonia or nitrite problems going on as you won't need to do a water change for six days after dosing with tetra lifeguard so it shouldn't be a problem
