Fish Folk
Got a 10 gal we’ve let go wild with guppies and cherry shrimp. In this short video (30 sec.) the female in the center is full of eggs. Always good to look for a few females full like this in the store when buying neocaridina of any color.
Patrick_G
I agree I always check the shrimp tanks at fish stores for berried shrimp.
Taco Playz
Well you actually got yours to breed. STILL TRYING. Have fun with them!

In other tanks, strangely, they’ve just died off. I know if I clean too much they don’t like it. They seem obsessed with a sponge filter, and Java moss.
Beardedbillygoat1975
Seasoned tanks and sponges are the key for shrimp. Great job I saw 2 berried shrimps on that sponge.
Stealth Aquatics
My problem is that when I’m selling my shrimp I keep picking out the females that are berried. I can’t sell them while berried 😩

The coop sponge filter is great for the babies. They all get in there and feast. Java Moss. Lots of it. And feed them heavier than you think.
Trish
I am having a Bloody Mary explosion for the first time in my 10 gallon, finally got it right. After the Ellobiopsidae I had 3 females and 1 male left. Currently have gained 20 shrimp-lets and all 3 females are already berried again. I contribute it to planting up the tank with lots plants and a huge cholla log! 1
