sudofish
I don't think I would keep rams in anything less than a 20 gallon. I think they would also probably eat the shrimp especially in a small tank like a 10 gallon. If I was going to try that setup I'd do it in a heavily planted 20 long. I have 6 neon tetras in my 5 gallon betta tank and they seem to be doing just fine. You could probably boost the numbers of the neon tetras up to like 12ish. Patrick_G
Green Neon Tetras are even smaller. You could have a school of 8-9 and still have room for a clean up crew and a nice centerpiece fish like a Honey Gourami. Here’s a pic from one of @Irene’s videos.
sudofish
I do love the green neons. I like regular neons as well of course. They're just so eye catching.
