What is your favorite tank size

i love the look of what you can do with a 20 gallon tall or a 29 gallon.

I'm a big fan of 20 longs and 40 breeders. They're both really versatile. If you're into smaller fish, however, the 10 gallons really can't be beat.

I was gifted a tank from the 70s that I believe is ~38 gallons. It's the same length as a 40 breeder but taller and skinnier (36x19x12.75). Seems like it could be a cool tank, aside from the woodgrain plastic, but I'm just too paranoid to trust 50 year old silicone.

Being vertically challenged, the 40b is perfect for me. Having said that I’m currently working on setting up a 75, hope I don’t fall in!

I think I would say my favorite would be a 75 gallon tank, its a really great shape, however the number 1 tank I think for all fish keepers would be the 29g its the smallest tank you can do a lot with imo. 

But, if we were going with my dream tank, it would be Cory's 800 gallon lol

@Streetwise That's so smart and you do inspire with your collection!  I recently bought a 20L and love it. The LYS tells me they are hard to keep in stock and fly off the shelves.  Of bigger I am fond of 40B's.  Just watched a video of Dean visiting this fishkeepers tanks and now I think smaller is awesome!  One day I would like to get rid of my custom 50gallon and have a whole row of smaller tanks and get into nano fish.

Big fan of 29s, as they're big enough to do a bit of cool stuff, and small enough that you can theoretically move it around by yourself (and it doesn't take up a great deal of space)
