Shark ADV Internal Filter

Alright guys so i am wondering if i can get some opinions from you guys on the Shark ADV Filters. I'm making a video for my channel and just thought ide pull some pros and cons from the community. Hit me with your thoughts if you have used this filter!

I'm picking up mine some time this week, from my PO BOX. Planning on putting it in my 40g breeder exclusively for mech filtration, since I already got a ziss moving media filter that keeps the tank well, plus I got lots of stem plants! It's just that I have near zero mech filtration.

Will report back when I test it up!

I've used it and also made a video. 

Before making the video, I've only used it for a week. After a week or so, it started getting clogged. The sponge part is fairly small, although its quite coarse, it clogged fairly quick. I had another one of them malfunction a month after. Not my favorite but if someone gives me one, I'll use it til it breaks. Since then I told myself to use a product for a month before making a video lol.. that's really the only lesson I learned.

Ya your video was one of the first I looked at on it. I've had it running for a month and haven't had any issues really but have noticed it does need to be cleaned after a month in my tank. Overall im fairly happy so far but thag could change in another month. Thanks for the input Jimmy

When Aquarium Co-Op first opened we sold Sicce products. As Dean said, I don't have anything good to say about them, so I'll just leave it with we haven't sold them in 5+ years...
