Lemon
so I have a challenge so what if for the month of june and july we choose a tank and we don't trim the plants unless needed ofc E.G plants are harming/killing other plants, fish can't move, Rules . no trimming . The tank has to be Planted . trim the plants if fish, invertebrate, or plant is being harmed from the challenge . post a picture at the start of the month . post some pictures picture every week . you can remove floating plants; salvinia, duckweed, red root floater, etc Have fun I will be doing my 20 long planted tank Edited May 29, 2021 by quirkylemon103 changed the title

I’m wondering out loud if a “No Trim J&J” (June & July) might be more interesting. I’ll play!

Cownsu
I'm totally down for this. I'm kind of scared what kind of a jungle my tank will turn into though without trimming.

My water looks low because I have the pump off and the sump is holding a lot of the water. I've had it running about 1.5 months now.
BaRanchik
Oh no, I can only imagine how thick the layer of duckweed will be in my tank. 1

ChemBob
@quirkylemon103 how would you handle floaters? Does removing floaters count as trimming?

Jungle Fan
Nope, without trimming and giving away plants every two weeks my jungle would grow out of the aquarium and take over the living room. Have fun, I'll watch!😁
