AJE
So I got this bulb from the coop yesterday and since then it has grown this white fuzz on it. Am I doing something wrong?
Administrators Cory Posted May 23, 2021 Administrators Share Posted May 23, 2021 Nothing wrong, You can take it out and rinse it and scrub a bit with your hands. Since they are stored in peat, sometimes spores get onto it, nothing harmful to your aquarium.

You can gently rub the slime off like @Corysaid.

I'll give another week or two and see. Thanks!
