Amano Shrimp

Hi- I just got 6 new Amano shrimp yesterday and added them to a 20gal. I have other fish in the tank such as cories, neon tetras, GBR, kuhli loaches, mollies. It is also heavily planted. Is there a way to get my Amano shrimp to come out more often?

Give them time. They will be jerks before you know it. 

Lot's of plants willl help too.

Patience, lol. I have 6 Amanos in my 29 gallon and they all either have a party under the Java Moss or behave like they're king of the heater.

It'll take a few days, then they will get very cheeky. They are absolute goofballs, and not afraid of anything. Mine "clean" my hands when I am working in the aquarium, tickling quite a bit 😉

Whenever I want to see my amanos I turn off the flow in the tank. In no time they come out and swim laps around the tank, kind of like follow the leader. Fun to watch.

Originally If I saw mine once a week, it was a gift.  I still haven't seen them out in the open.  They are either hiding under the HOB or on the heater.
