gjcarew
Yeah, it's a great epiphyte! It likes CO2 and good fertilization. My favorite example is from Josh Sim's winning aquascape from 2019. It drapes down over hardscape in a way that lends gravity to the scape, whereas most other epiphytes will be oriented more vertically towards the light. 22 minutes ago, Patrick_G said: Can Monte Carlo be grown as an epiphyte?

Jungle Fan
@Patrick_G & @laritheloud are you dosing extra potassium besides the all in one fertilizer? I have found that I needed to add extra liquid iron and potassium to keep the Java fern, as well as my Amazon swords, and crypts happy. My Christmas moss also has started to grow so much I'm now forced to remove some every few weeks. Just a quick phone shot to illustrate.
Patrick_G
@Jungle Fan, I do add Iron and Potassium as a supplement to the Easy Green, and I have seen positive results.
darkG
Here is my Hygrophila pinnatifida, and also above it another, less showy (but more coloured), Hygrophila. I don't recall the actual species. Edit: it's H. araguaia. Edited May 21, 2021 by darkG

I add Iron but not potassium. Perhaps I should get some...
