ChrisPogue34
So somthing happend to my platty this Saturday morning. Friday he was fine and this time next day his tail had a chunk taken out of him. He is swimming upside down. Parameters are HP 7.0 amonoa 0 Nitrite 0 Nitrate 20 in my planted tank. I moved him to my Quarantine tank. I gave him a 10 min etson salt bath. I think he got in a fight and was injured. Anything I can try and help. I have him in a 10 gallon tank. Treating with general cure and maracyn two. If there is nothing I can do I don't want him to suffer. He is still on his side trying to swim upright. Colu
I would treat with aquarium salt 1 table spoon for 2 gallons and monitor for now if he gets worse I would treat with maracyn
ChrisPogue34
I'm already treating 3 days with maracyn two. Should add aqarium salt also or see what maracyn does?
quikv6
Yes...salt would be a good addition, especially for a platy.
