Jeltz
I am curious, I have white clouds that have thrived with koi in a pond. I am really hoping for another possible species to co mingle with. I really want to flesh out the nutrient cycle. Is it true Cory kept cherry shrimp outside over winter? Any chance a complex tubing ball and PNW fire moss will sustain a shrimp population? KBOzzie59
Yes it is true. As I recall the pond even iced over. Even iced over the pond will still grow microscopic goodies for the shrimp and fish to eat. I couple winters ago I brought our young goldfish indoors, well I thought I got them all. Spring rolled around and we were moving them back outside, there were still 3 in the pond. No feeding for 5+ months.
