AudreyB
So... while spending my daily hour with my tanks, I made an amazing discovery. My first sparkling gourami nest. At first I had no idea what it was. I’m so lucky I didn’t destroy it while I was doing maintenance on the tank. So now I have to remember to look before I put my hands in the tanks! I had frogbit and the nest is at the base of the frogbit. The male is guarding his nest in the last photo, he is to the right. There are a LOT of eggs in it. its so rewarding to see. JPF
They are super fun for sure. I recently bred my honey gouramis and seeing how they dance around the tank is really neat. Bubble nesting fish have such a unique mating style. I just think they are great.
