TheMilkman
Looking for a really colorful centerpiece fish for my 20 gallon. My water is pretty hard and ph about 8.0. The only other thing in the tank is 4 male endlers. Thanks!
KBOzzie59
I'd go with something in the pelvicachromis genus. I keep them in pH 7.6 to 8.0. Pictures courtesy of a google search. Edited May 8, 2021 by KBOzzie59

anewbie
Keep an eye on the krib if you get one they can sometime be a bit aggressive to other bottom dwellers. Most kribs will hang out in the lower region of the tanks - mine rarely go above 5 inches of a 24 inch tall tank....
laritheloud
How about a peacock gudgeon or a sparkling gourami? EDIT: Or an American Flagfish (or two at most). Not sure if they would play well in a community, I'd have to research. Never owned one. Edited May 8, 2021 by laritheloud
Patrick_G
All the community dwarf Cichlids are beautiful, but I’m most drawn to the Apistogrammas. Especially the Fire Red variety
