Tyler LaZerte
I have a 10 Gallon fish bowl that I would like to use for acclimating my fish when I get them or possibly as a fry tank. It is pretty dirty so I would need to clean it but I don't know what I should clean it with. Should I just do water or can I use soap with it? It won't be used for a couple weeks. xXInkedPhoenixX
Tyler it should be fine if you wash it with hot water- if it needs soap don't be afraid to use it, just make sure it's super rinsed. I use soap to clean my stainless tools in super hot water. I never have issues. Rinse, rinse! (I like to use plain Dawn soap) Edited May 2, 2021 by xXInkedPhoenixX

Rudles
I use distilled white vinegar. It will help cut scale (hard water) and will completely evaporate. Since it's distilled there's no harsh chemicals. I like to give it a full day to make sure that it's completely gone.
