Matt H
I have a couple pairs of Ivanacara Adoketa that are starting to show breeding behavior and it's time to give it a shot. My water ph out of the tap is 7.6-7.8 and is pretty hard, but I have an RO unit and am going to transition them to softer water. Has anyone successfully bred them and if so, would you offer any tips on the water parameters necessary to produce fertile eggs (ph, hardness, temp, etc.)? I've heard you have to drop the ph to 3.5-4, is that true? Much appreciated! Matt
