RobHart28
Hey folks, show me some of the ways you guys hide sponge filters in your tanks. I love the natural look of my aquarium with the exception of the massive sponge in the back corner. Edited April 23, 2021 by RobHart28

RobHart28
Working on that. You can barely see the Visnaria poking up behind the rocks. The pogostemon on the opposite side is doing much better
Yanni
I like to put my hardscape around the sponge filters. Island scapes are usually what I do. Plants are also useful to try and hide the sponge filters.
Irene
I've got two sponge filters in the back two corners of this tank. I like the Aquarium Co-Op sponges because the black sponge blends in with my background and the green tube blends in with plants. There is very little hardscape in this aquarium, and yet the sponge filter on the left is barely visible because of the tall background plants.
Harpsandfish
Here’s my tank; you can just barely see the sponge and intake tube of the HOB on the left back corner, and a bit of airline tubing and heater cord in back right corner. I planned it to hide as much tech as possible and I’m pretty happy with the results. My first tank.
eatyourpeas
Plants, plants, lots of plants! This tank has a sponge filter and an external canister filter with a sponge on the intake:
