eatyourpeas
It is not RO, but it helps with cleaning my tap water before using it in any of the tanks (we get tea from our tap!):
eatyourpeas
A new addition to the tank: Four-Horned Poacher (Hypsagonus quadricornis). He does live outside the tank, and was a gift from Mr. Peas: 2 2

OnlyGenusCaps
Haven't seen you in a hot minute. Good to get the update! Are those gobies ones that have a larval stage, or is this about to become the goby biotope?

Some of the gobies appear to be guarding shells and rocks, and I do not see eggs in most of the girls. I’ll keep you updated. 🙃 Edited March 21, 2022 by eatyourpeas
Odd Duck
Whoa! Is that shrimp really as loaded with eggs about to hatch as it looks? Blends into the rock just a bit too well to be certain. Still loving your tank and this journal.

There have been moltings, but no sign of saddles or fanning eggs. Also, I think this one may be a boy, and he is so transparent with beautiful markings that he blends quite nicely in the tank. 😊 I am glad you are still enjoying the journal. 😍 Edited March 21, 2022 by eatyourpeas

eatyourpeas
Last night appears to have been eventful. Ursula ate a full size mussel, no leftovers: And The Acrobat is no more. I will miss those little beady eyes challenging me to a duel every time I approached the tank. 😔

Ursula eats whatever happens to snuggle near her, and I also feed her a big shrimp tail once a week. 🙃 She is a glutton!

eatyourpeas
Spring is in the tank. I was gifted with the opportunity to watch Ursula in mid-spawn! It went on for about a half hour, and it is still happening! It made the tank really, really, cloudy! A heavenly sight! Warning, the video is very long! eatyourpeas
This went on for about an hour. Then she was done, looking thinner and exhausted, as if nothing ever happened. Someone seemed a bit traumatized by the event, and I m sure he'll be scarred for the rest of his crabby life: This is how cloudy the tank got: And this! This!
