TheDukeAnumber1
Feeding my snails leaves now and then. Love how they reveal the leaves structure and BBS dart through and around it during feeding time. 3

What a photo!

I did not think Bladder snails could be interesting until the snails in my project tank grew hair. This style is only found in my snail only project tank. Now the challenge will be to get a better shot I have toyed with the idea of putting shrimp in the project tank, but the 60-90 degree seasonal temperature swings might be an issue.

The shrimp will need well oxygenated water, and will breed faster/live faster/die faster at the elevated temps. I don't know how Caridina would handle it, neocaridina are okay as long as it's a gradual change, and P paludosus enjoy those swings in their natural environment... But will die if it happens too fast, and need increased flow with higher temps. 1

Torrey
My NANF tank. Hydra with a symbiotic relationship with green algae, and a representative from the latest P paludosus batch to reach adulthood.🎉 Vallisneria americana plants, and stem from a cottonwood in the foreground Apparently, my water has enough minerals that a few Amano zooeys seem to have survived. I bought a larger shipment of P paludosus, and 3 were Amanos. I now have at least 6 Amanos, without having added new shrimp since last year. I'm looking for a reputable source for more P paludosus, so I don't run into inbreeding issues in my tank. The Amanos are allowed to stay in my NANF tank, as long as they continue to pay rent by cleaning up the algae 😅
