I saw this forum and my 1st though was "Let me grab my old hybrid DSLR-point and shoot that takes 10 seconds to digitally manually focus, and try to use it to get a picture of my Kuhlis that literally never move slower than highway speeds"
But I did it and I'm so happy.

It's not mine, I just had to share this after watching the video. Stunning microscopy of algae, rotifers, paramecium and other things...

That one of my favorite channels! I just got a Tardigrade shirt! Jim's photography is absolutely stunning!

How large are these guys? Love them and the idea of stocking a 55 with them and a larger cichlid like a geophagus or a sevrum.

Not exactly a macro but rather, a mug shot!  I bought 50 cardinals and all has been well. After about two months, one morning, I found this guy staring at me!

Has anyone heard about the Omega Sea Photo Contest? I got a card in the latest issue of tropical fish hobbyist. 13 winners will be picked and featured in Omega One’s 2022 calendar.

If any of you do enter, good luck!

So I entered the contest and last week they told me my green terror was a finalist! Thanks for posting the contest! So excited.Pics-3.jpg.098c940e5f08c1fa95bf32c7878c97b5.jpgPics-4.jpg.7ee9665a06be55a9945e522b97707331.jpgPics-6.jpg.cfe383249b19674b44d40a767b0c5ff5.jpg

African Cichlid fry - Aristo Yellow Blaze, seen enjoying some baby brine shrimp. I originally ordered a group of all male Cichlids. I noticed this one smaller fish that looked like it had something stuck in its mouth. Having never bred Cichlids before it took me a few days to realize she must be a female holding eggs. I moved her to a separate tank where she let out at least two dozen fry.
