I know they are Neocaridina but i am not sure exactly what kind. They called them "Rainbow shrimp" I payed 9 bucks a piece which seems a bit expensive for something so small. Is that a normal price? Bru Posted April 14, 2021 Share Posted April 14, 2021 I bought 6 high grade cherry shrimp at $5 a piece at my local fish store. 2 males and 4 females and I've made 1,000s of shrimp since then. So price really depends on availability and what you're willing to pay. You'd probably find better prices online but then you also have to factor in shipping. From what I've seen shrimp ship very well. Since the coop doesn't currently sell fish/shrimp online, they link over to AquaHuna which has a variety of cool looking shrimp at good prices. ^ 3 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Prices can definitely vary between geographic areas, but I don't think I've ever seen neos in a store for more than $6.00. I got an order of them from Aqua Huna a few months ago that were very nice shrimp.
