Liz hughes
Hey I’m worried I messed up my second tank ( first large) tanks stocking. Here Is the list in a 80 heavy planted tank with weekly water changes between 20-50 percent and my water tends to test prefect. 12 harlequin raspboras, 12 zebra danios, 20 platys, 2 bettas, 2 GBR, 14 cardinals, 12 panda corys, 4 angels
TheDukeAnumber1
Fish behaving normally, healthy, getting along, water testing perfect. If those boxes are checked I don't see an issue. Edited September 9, 2020 by TheDukeAnumber1
Chandra
I usually don't go by one inch fish per gallon rule. I have stocked 14 in a 10 gallon too. As long as its not way too crowded, they have spaces to swim and zones to have territories. Most of fish should be okay. Be sure to check the parameters though as heavy bio load can cause ammonia to spike up and never forget to keep up with regular water changes as per nitrates. As long as your filtration is good, you will be okay.
KBOzzie59
My Guppy Hut is a 29 gallon and at any given time has about 200+ fish in it. It is very heavily planted, CO2, shrimp, snails, and a albino bristlenose pleco. Oh and a bag of ceramic bio rings with an air stone under it. I think for an 80 gallon your stocking level is very manageable. 1
