mgudyka Posted April 10, 2021 Share Posted April 10, 2021 Alright so I guess I get why we aren't supposed to leave our lights on for so many hours in a day. Apparently algae that looks EXACTLY like green dyed human hair will form everywhere and your duckweed that literally started from one lone leaf will explode. On the upside, my java moss is a lot greener than it was in my other tank that's on a normal light cycle. There are no fish in this tank, just hundreds of tiny snails, three nerites, and some thing called a SCUD which I haven't seen in two days.
