About Me

  1. It’s nice and steamy here on the East Coast of Central Florida! What’s the weather like where you are?
  2. We lost power for 10 days after hurricane ida came through. I had some battery operated air bubblers so o was able to keep the fish alive. My filter and lights were off the entire time though. I’m getting algae everywhere now. I would’ve thought no light would’ve helped prevent algae?? The tank is moderately stocked and planted. I always keep nitrates under 40. I’ve stopped adding fertilizer since the algae started. Any advice? Thanks!
  3. Mr Gumby

    Ida

Just a quick one to anyone feeling the effects of Ida. Hope you and yours are all safe and well
  4. Yes, that's a potted plant. All my plants arrived frozen solid. This has nothing to do with AC. The post office delayed shipping, the plants arrived in my city and were then sent to a different city, then delivered to me and left outside on the ground in 12 degree weather. So my question is: Can I save them? I'm heartbroken.
  5. Time for a cooler (Slightly cooler!) temp waterchange and yummy bloodworm boost to help spawn my Corys! Whoo Hoo! Who's with me?
