  1. So I planted a pot of tissue cultured Pogostemon Deccanensis and now all has melted away think there is any hope for it to come back? The culture itself looked immaculate and I know it was in its immersed form. I just want to make sure I just didn't waste more money lol.
  2. I bought Cryptocoryne Lucens tissue cultures. About 2 weeks ago rescaped my 5gal. The plants all looked like they were doing good. A few days in there was a significant amount of biofilm(?) White slimy looking cloud laying just above the substrate. The Cryptocoryne and other plants all still looked good. About a week later the biofilm started to clear up, but then all but 1 of the baby Cryptocoryne tissue cultures were melting. Now they are just individual piles of mush on the bottom. My question is, do you think they might regrow if left alone?
  3. Been setting up my first tank in 5 years and starting to become more and more into plants. Got me a in vitro baby tears plant and wonder what is the trick in getting it planted. I took out most of the medium (very tricky with these tiny roots) but somehow it keeps floating in my aquarium (I got quite a bit of current due to the size of the canister filer). For now its on top of the substrate with a ceramic ring to keep it down but doubt this will be a success like this. On the Tube I see people tearing the carpet up in tinier bits and plant it but I don't see this succeeding in my substrate. Thoughts? what am I missing here? Ruud
