  1. I was comparing my api test kit to my aquarium coop test kit and they show opposite ph. My api one shows that I have a ph around the higher end and my coop one shows it’s around the acidic end. Which is more accurate?
  2. My api test kit bottles leak every time I shake them for the nitrate test are the faulty or is this normal because I do not want to poison my fish or myself via my hands that are covered in test chemicals.
  3. Hi, I have a quick question: My two betta tanks are cycled, but I always seem to see 0-0.25 ammonia when I test the water. It also kind of depends on the lighting, in some brighter lights it looks more yellow and in others more green (but I'm pretty sure it is reading 0.25). Does this mean both tanks are not fully cycled? They finished around a month ago. My tap water has 1 ppm ammonia but I tested before I did a water change, not after. Could this be caused by the test kit?? I have the api one.
