  1. Amazing how quickly this bulb sprouted and is growing. I received this bulb on Thursday, July 14th and expected it to take a couple of weeks to see growth, but 2 days later I had sprouts!
  2. So, I received this bulb from ACO on Thursday and placed it in my tank, fully expecting it to take a week or two to sprout. But here it is, Saturday (2 days later) and look! It’s got SPROUTS!!!! I’m so excited for this plant!!!
  3. I got a red dwarf lily bulb from ACO a couple days ago. I was delighted to see it sprung a few roots. After leaving for just a few hours and coming back, I noticed green shoots, too. But, the thing seems to be sideways. If it were a pyramid, it'd have shoots growing from one face and roots from the other. I'm wondering if I should give it a nudge so the roots are facing the sand, or leave it be? 🤷‍♂️ It's so hard to take good photos of this tank, but the roots (i assume) are growing out the right, and red-tipped green shoots are growing out the left.
  4. Hello! In just five short days my A-Coop red dwarf lily is sprouting! Do I have it in upside-down? Thanks!!
  5. Finally got the valisneria, java fern, red dwarf lily, and anubius nangi out of the rock wool and into the tank! All of the java fern was from one pot and there's even more in the quarantine tank at the moment cause I don't want to take ALL of the bacteria from the plants out just yet. I also have java moss in the quarantine but just as soon as this tank cycles and I can move the snails over, I'll be moving everything else to the display tank. The light I'm using is a Hygger 16w with an Aquaclear 50 filter, no heater because the water stays a toasty 76F without it right now. Background soon to come. Thank you Cory and coop team for such lovely, hardy plants! Also, please tell me if I have the red dwarf lily planted incorrectly, I'm just guessing at this point. 😅
