I tried to generate a infusoria culture a few times now and they have all failed. I have used veggies with water from an established tank those 3 failed. I tried one with yeast and tank water. Tried both recipes with water from the 100gal tub in the back yard. Now I am about to start a hay/dried grass recipe. All from YouTube. The all get cloudy but never seem to make it to that streams of food stage. I am looking at it under a microscope as well. Any experienced suggestions out there? Also, has anyone tried the Paramecium from Carolina? If so how did it work out?

Does anyone know of chemicals that will kill all these terrible little detritus worms, cyclops, paramecium, and Vorticella in my aquarium. You can see all of this 'stuff' swimming around in the video I just shot below. The pygmy sunfish fry is eating some of it, but he will never get all it. Ugh, what am I doing wrong? Plus I think I saw a hydra eating a flatworm or leech or something. 😒

@Dean’s Fishroom64 oz over 6 hours. Water is also exchanging with the 250 gallon so the fry tray doesn’t become rancid. testing it with rice fish first. Then on to the T. schoutedeni fry! on a side note: my ricefish mixing has been fruitful. Many of my orange color fry juveniles are starting to get black patches. Hard to get on camera.
