About Me

  1. So my question is did I find a diamond in the rough? I got this book given to me or what I thought was just a book. but it turned out to be a bunch of magazines banded together but it’s the whole series and it’s from 1979. like I’m gonna be reading this thing for a whole year and probably not even be able to digest half of it. just like in the pictures below that tip about filter floss did any of you guys know about that. and I’m also curious if any of these clubs in that one picture are still in existence. You should have seen me I was like a kid in the candy store when given this. Smiling from ear to ear I wonder what new things I’m going to learn. @Cory @Daniel @Streetwise obviously I want everyone to answer but tagged you three cause seem advanced in the hobby and are older than me. Thanks everyone!
  2. What fish magazines (if any) does everyone read? Digital or print. From what I can see there is mostly Tropical Fish Hobbyist, Amazonas and Practical Fishkeeping. Which is the best? Thinking of subscribing to one (my sister is asking about gift ideas for me). On a related note, is there a way to gift someone Aquarium Co-op membership? If not there should be! Also Aquarium Co-op or @Cory should totally produce their own aquarist magazine (yeah right, like they haven't got enough going on already right! Haha)
  3. I got a shipment of Aquarium Hobbyist Magazine in the mail over the weekend, they send me a bunch every quarter for distribution at my local fish club meetings. I was just glancing through one this morning and there is a scaper spotlight on the co-op's own @Lizzie BlockIt's a nice two and half page article on her and her experiences, along with some great pictures of some of her scapes she has done. I looked online, and the newest issue isn't available online yet, so I couldn't link it.
