About Me

  1. Needing something to cover my foreground. I pretty well had it done with dwarf hairgrass until a certain 3 year old went digging for fun, and i don't have the patience to wait that long again. Algae keeps taking over the bare area. I was thinking hydrocotyle Japan. Does this spread pretty quickly? Will it cover fairly thick? Any other tips/tricks? I'm going to say I have at least medium light, no co2.
  2. I got my Aquarium Co-Op plant shipment yesterday. I have a question about what would be the best way to plant my new Brazilian Moneywort? It seems to have little root balls all up an down the stem. I just planted them (2 plants) as best I could with the roots on the bottom that came out of the pot. It’s really sort of a mess of stems (runners?) with lots of root balls. Should I cut each stem just below the roots and re-plant it or what? 🤷🏼‍♂️
  3. I am about to order this plant from aquarium co op but i was wondering if i could keep it with angelfish and gouramis.I also wondered if i could just keep it in the pot but stick a root tab in there
  4. Today I found a flower on some hydrocotlyle. Just thought I'd share.
