I want to grow some edible aquarium plants because why not. And ive found that duck weed, bacopa, and pennywort are the main ones. But bacopa seems like its the only one with flavor. Can anybody confirm its flavor of slight lemon? Does anybody know of any other truly aquatic and edible plants? I kind of want to grow strawberries emersed as a cool little farm for the fish but that's a whole different story.

The Bacopa caroliniana plant is for sale on A-C's website, but I don't see a lot of people talking about it like vals, swords, crypts, anubias, etc., which everyone loves to discuss. I like the light green look of this plant and my stem plants do well (if I can manage to keep them planted in the substrate long enough, lol). Does anyone have this plant, and if so, how do you like it?

Good morning all! I've had my planted tank up for almost a month with everything going well, however I've been noticing spots developing on the leaves of all my Bacopa Caroliniana (below). They are otherwise growing and looking healthy with new leaves and shoots from the top. Just wanted to know if this was a normal thing or something I need to address. Thank you in advance!

About 2 weeks ago I planted a new 75g aquarium and am noticing the Bacopa caroliniana is looking worse than I expected. The other plants in the tank including Amazon sword, crypts(I cut off the leaves and they have started regrowing), Christmas moss and more are doing fine. They are planted in pool filter sand. I’m using root tabs and liquid fertilizer, ph 7.4, hardness is a little soft, temp 74. 9 hours of light a day. Is this just normal melting or is there something else I should be looking into? do you recommend just giving it time? Or should I trim the dying parts and plant the tops?

Hello all, I got my shipment from the co-op on Friday arrived great!!(thank you guy)! I know it’s crazy early but I seem to notice the lower half of my plant looks to me melting a bit? Is this normal the top of the plant and the bottom of the plant look good! Just the lower middle is in question! I put a root tab close to it! I’m sure it’ll rebound but just asking! And I did get my self a bottle of easy green when should I start using it? My cryptoryne lutea seems to be looking good but I guess it’s still too early to tell.
