  1. Will be out of town for 6 days. I have a 30 gallon community tank with about 18 fish (neons, guppies, pelcos, etc..) I don’t want to use a feeder block, what do y’all think a great automatic feeder option is? Thoughts on the Ani Mate Fish Feeder?
  2. I’ve used auto feeders (I have the Eheim now) a few times but none of the ones I have tried are good for small tanks, they seem to dispense quite a bit of food. I have a 10 gallon tank with a dozen CPDs and Neocaridinas so it doesn’t need much if I leave town for a week. Any recommendations on auto feeder’s that will release small amounts of food?
  3. was this announced? I haven't been on yt today https://www.aquariumcoop.com/collections/the-easy-range/products/fish-food-autofeeder I might order one soon also pink flamingo is in stock https://www.aquariumcoop.com/collections/live-plants/products/cryptocoryne-pink-flamingo
  4. Hi, so I will be going to college in a couple months and I want to make my 10 gallon as easy as possible for my parents, any auto feeder recommendations?
  5. Hello Nerms! I have a 15 gallon tank and need to leave town for a few days. Any suggestions on the best automatic feeder? I am nervous about it...
  6. In one of Cory’s videos, there’s an automatic fish feeder on an aquarium. He mentioned it when it dumped fish food into the aquarium. I can’t find one on the store site. Anyone know the brand or model of that auto feeder?
  7. I have never used an auto feeder before, and was just looking at some online and on amazon. I was wondering if anyone has ever used these devices before? Did they work well? Are there features i should look for in a good model vs a more mediocre model? Or are they even worth the time or money? Any thoughts and opinions are more than welcome. *oops, i thought i was in the general thread, didnt mean to post it to the plants thread. *
  8. What is everyone’s thoughts on foods like these?
  9. i was planning to buy automatic food feeder for 55 gallon tank any recommendations
  10. I have a few 29g Aqueon tanks with the folding glass lids. When I bought the EHEIM everyday feeder, I was surprised to see how far the feeding hole on the canister is from the clamp. I cut out a good sized square from the plastic section but I still haven’t figured out how to install it without getting flake food all over the place. Am I missing something? Do people not use feeders on tanks with lids?
  11. So, filled up the auto feeder last nite. Headed out to enjoy some nature this morning. When I got back the feeder was stuck in the “On” position and the tank looked like a snow globe. Ugh. Did the emergency water change. Added a second sponge filter to help suck up the rest of the food. So, what are your thoughts, should I do a second 50% change tomorrow, or a 25%.
  12. This is one product that no one has been able crack. I think this diy version is pretty cool. There have been others to try and solve this, but this is the best one I have come across in awhile. https://www.reef2reef.com/threads/diy-auto-frozen-food-feeder.753039/#post-7893236
